Customer Service Training

WORKFORCE plus offers an exciting and interactive Customer Service Training program at no cost to the employer. A Business Consultant will come and meet with you, review your customer service outline, assess your specific needs and cater the training to meet your specific goals. WORKFORCE plus staff are also available to visit your business as a "mystery shopper" and provide you a detailed report with the results of our findings as well as practical solutions to improving Customer Service.

Ethics In The Workplace Training

WORKFORCE plus also offers an informative training in Ethics at the Workplace which is designed to touch on severaly key elements deemed exceedingly important to the business community. Subjects such as productivity, teamwork, showing up on time and doing your job to the best of your ability are just a small few of topics available in this training.

Conflict Resolution Training

In addition to the above trainings, WORKFORCE plus also offers Conflict Resolution Training. Conflict is a natural part of any human interaction. It's not "if" conflict happens but rather "when" it happens. Those times are generally filled with tense emotions and communication tends to break down at the moment we need to be at our best. Conflict Management is a class that explores the reason we have conflict and provides tools the participant can use to manage conflict. the foundation of the class is based on the practice of identifying and handling conflict in a professional, sensible, fair, efficient and postive way.

Employed Worker Training Grants

The 2007 EWT Customized Training Program is an employer based training project for current (including new hires in need of skills training) employees of a company. The training is generally for job specific skills/industry specific skills necessary to help employees acquire the skills to keep their jobs and/or advance in the company while meeting the employer's need to be more competitive in the market place.

Employers located within the three counties of the WORKFORCE plus service area, Gadsden, Leon and Wakulla, are eligible to apply for grants not to exceed $5,000. Employers can be private, public or non-profits. They must have at least two full-time employees.
